OUR HISTORY
Started in 1927
In 1927, Kathleen and TB Isbell created the TB Isbell Insurance Agency in Riceville, Tennessee. Since that day our family has been dedicated to assisting families, farmers, and business owners across Tennessee.
Today that small agency has grown into a multiple location independent insurance provider owned by the Omega One Insurance Group which was co-founded by TB and Kathleen's great nephews Jimmy Hill and Steven Shelton.
Carter Insurance serves people across Tennessee, with a concentration on our home of McMinn County and Athens, Tennessee.

With our original agency being founded in 1927, Carter Insurance is a division of a Tennessee based privately owned regional independent insurance firm that handles the process of reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and servicing insurance coverages and products for our clients.
